Summer Rec

June 30 – August 8, 2025 (Closed July 4)

Join us for a fun-filled summer at Falconer Park! Our Summer Recreation program runs Monday through Friday with daily activities for children. Morning hours are 9:00 a.m. to noon, and the afternoon session runs from 12:30–4:30 p.m., rain or shine. On Fridays, we wrap up a little earlier at 4:00 p.m. (Note: The program temporarily closes daily from 12:00–12:30 p.m., and no recreation staff or lunch services will be available during this time.)

Our friendly staff are on hand to organize games and supervise structured activities on the Rec Building side of the park. Staff are not responsible for children who play in the creek or on the pavilion side of the park, including the playground.

Each day includes both morning and afternoon activities, and participants are welcome to use our equipment and participate in outdoor and indoor games. Children should ask a staff member to borrow items and remember to return everything in good condition.

This is a “Come and Go” program, so children are welcome to come and go as they choose. Attendance is not mandatory, and staff do not notify parents when children leave or arrive. For this reason, ensure your child is responsible and independent enough to attend. Please keep in mind that the program is not a babysitting service.

To keep Summer Rec safe and enjoyable for all, bullying, disrespect, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the program.
